2024 Shower Screen Fashion Trends
It’s been a challenging year in the Building and Construction Industry, navigating the recovery of world economic factors. Designer’s have continued to specify projects with clean, affordable chrome hardware and neutral colour schemes. We have seen a steady selection of matte black semi-framed shower screens and framed bathroom mirrors.
There is a stronger spark in rates of brushed brass and brushed nickel frameless hardware paired with narrow reeded 10mm toughened frameless glass. Definitely creating a luxurious and high end design, adding to the value of bathroom real-estate.
To complement rounded edge or arch type shower screens we have seen the use of our custom cut & polished edge 4 and 6mm mirrors in more types of shapes that we have ever seen, our Senior Glaziers have been busy creating ovals, circles, arches, rectangles!
More than 90% of shower screens are now installed on tiles with the remaining on shower bases. Shower bases are completely phasing out which has been a huge shift in the last 5 years.
When designing your shower screen it’s important to factor in functionality with design. If you’re space is under 900mm. you may think about having a smaller shower head, and installing our water tight semi-frameless Elfreda Suite shower screen. If you have a larger space, you have much more flexibility, choosing between cozy enclosed frameless showers or more freeing walk-in panels.
If you need any assistance in choosing your shower screens please note we offer both standard and customer made shower screens. We can be contacted on info@pipersinternational.com.au or phone 1300 005 384.
